Atlantic Sapphire Reaches Biomass Target in Denmark Facility, Inks Whole Foods Deal

Atlantic Sapphire, which operates a land based salmon farm in Denmark, and is building a very large facility outside of Miami, Florida, announced a milestone at the recent North Atlantic Seafood Forum.
The company, publicly traded on the Oslo Bors, said they reached their goal of a standing biomass target of 870 tons.
This volume of biomass, which includes fish from egg to 5 Kg, yields around 2900 tons of production annually.
They also said their mortality was at around 3%, and their feed conversion ratio (fish in to fish out) was 1.05...
