China Establishes Research Center Targeting Seafood Smuggling
In order to show determination and strengthen supervision against smuggling, China established its National Anti-Smuggling Coordination Survey and Research Center, also known as NARC, in Nanning of Guangxi on February 23. This center is said to be responsible for studying the smuggling situation, predicting the trend and also providing suggestions about how to tackle the problem. Seafood smuggling is one of the top priorities on its to-do list, according to media reports.
