New Rules on Gulf of Mexico Red Snapper Increase Catch Limits
The final rule for 2019 catch limits on Gulf of Mexico red snapper distinguish between ‘catch limits’ and ‘catch targets’ for recreational fisheries but not commercial fisheries, which are managed under a more reliable accounting system for removals.
