Norwegian Frozen Cod Exports Drop Slightly in February, But Up Overall For the Year

The Norwegian Seafood Council is reporting that 17,000 tons of frozen cod have been exported so far this year – an increase in volume of 11%.

In February the largest recipients of frozen cod were China, the UK and the Netherlands. But while exports of frozen cod for the year are up, they were down for the month of February when comparing to the previous month. In February 7,200 tons of frozen cod were exported, a decrease in volume of 4%. Looking back to January...
