Thai Union to Buy Remaining 49% Stake in TMAC Shrimp Feed JV with Mitsubishi
Thai Union Group has announced it will buy Mitsubishi Corporation's 49% stake in the Thai-based shrimp feed distributor and shrimp breeding joint venture TMAC for an estimated THB 110 million (about USD 3.5 million), enabling Thai Union to become the sole owner of the operation.
Thai Union initially acquired a 51% stake in TMAC in December 2012.
The deal is due to be completed in March 2019.
TMAC is based in Samut Sakhon province, west of Bangkok.
