Congressman Rutherford, Van Drew Introduce Bill to Prevent Seismic Testing in the Atlantic Ocean
Florida and New Jersey are banning together to prevent seismic testing from occurring in the Atlantic Ocean. On Monday Florida Congressman John Rutherford announced that, in response to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) issuing five Incidental Harassment Authorizations (IHAs), he and New Jersey Congressman Jeff Van Drew have introduced the bipartisan Atlantic Coastal Economies Protection Act.
