USDA Issues Recall for 55,300 lbs of Siluriformes That Were Not Presented for USDA Inspection
As USDA has taken over catfish inspection, they are also responsible for issuing recalls and product alerts. Today they published a recall for 55,300 lbs. of sheat fish distributed by Maxfield Seafood.
Maxfield is located in the City of Industry, California. The frozen Siluriformes items, specifically Sheat fish, were imported from Vietnam to the United States on various dates from April 2018 through December 2018. The products have a shelf life of two years.
