Coast Guard Formalizes Investigation into F/V Mary B II Capsizing
The U.S. Coast Guard announced Tuesday a formal marine casualty investigation has been convened into the sinking of the F/V Mary B II that capsized on the Yaquina Bay bar on Jan. 8.
The marine casualty resulted in the loss of three fishermen's lives and the loss of the vessel, a 42-foot wooden boat the captain purachsed earlier this year.
