Royal Greenland / Quin-Sea buys Woodman's Newfoundland Crab Plant to Enter Live Lobster Business

Quin-Sea Fisheries, which operates crab and shrimp plants in Newfoundland, and is owned by Royal Greenland, announced the purchase of the Woodman's crab facility as a means to expand to live export of lobster in coming years.  Managing director Simon Jarding said that with the continued forecast decline of crab and lobster it was imperative for the company to look to new opportunities.  One of them is the build up a direct live lobster shipping capability so as to participate in the international lobster market...
