What's the matter with trawling? Dragging a weighted net across the ocean floor is the fishing method that accounts for about 25% of global seafood production. In recent years, trawling has become more controversial, as some NGO's have attempted to say that bottom trawls are 100% destructive to the eco-systems where they are used.
