Argentina Shrimp Catches Up As Season Returns to Normal

Despite the emergence of a major trade union conflict and climatic circumstances that have limited the Argentine fleet's operations, July marked a volume peak for the country's shrimp season.
In July, a total of 34,099 metric tons were caught in Argentine waters, up 56% from June and 10% year-on-year, according to preliminary data from the country's fishing ministry.
