Cordova, AK – A new buyer will be on the Copper River Flats and a new processing facility will be in Cordoa when the fishery opens in a few weeks. Sixty North Seafoods is a Copper River fishermen-owned processing facility founded by Rich Wheeler, Sena Wheeler, and John D. Weise.
The new processing facility will buy and process wild Alaskan fish, custom process and direct market. The company's announcement today says it will also "empower other fishermen to do the same with their catch."
