CP Foods India takes Steps to Ensure Sustainable Sardines

Charoen Pokphand Foods India (CP Foods India) along with selected fishery societies and seafood companies have join forces with India's Government to draft the country's first-ever action plan under Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) in bid to preserve the Indian oil sardine stock along the West coast.
The collaboration of those agencies come up with a series of key proposals during the 2nd Steering Committee Meeting held in Panjim on Monday (19/02/2018). They agreed to push for strong practices to promoted sustainability in the supply chain of fisheries and related products along the coast of Goa and Maharashtra, India.
