Vietnam Officials Say High Probability Pangasius Exports to US will Stop in May 2018

There is a high possibility that the U.S. will stop import of Vietnamese pangasius export from March 2018 if Vietnamese processors fail to meet with the new regulations set by the importing country, a senior official has warned.
Nguyen Phu Hoa, deputy head of the Department of Import-Export under Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade said that Vietnamese pangasius exporters unlikely to meet all regulations set by the U.S. regarding pangasius shipment.
