Aquaculture Stewardship Council Completes Certification Standards for Farmed Seriola and Cobia

The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) has completed the certification standard for farmed Seriola and Cobia.
The final standard is the result of more than 8 years of development by farmers, scientists, conservationists, and others industry members. The ASC said the standard ends practices that can cause harm to the environment and negatively impact workers; it also moves the overall aquaculture industry towards sustainability.
