Camanchaca Expects 2017 Salmon Output to Be Unchanged Despite Chilean Algae Bloom

Chilean salmon producer Camanchaca said it will rehire the processing workers it laid off after it lost 1.5 million salmon to a toxic algae bloom in February.
According to Camanchaca its production forecast for next year is now unchanged. Initially, the company predicted its harvest to decline 10 percent into 2017 because of the toxic algae bloom that wiped out millions of salmon across southern Chile earlier this year...
