A massive fire was burning this morning at the Quinlan Bros. Fish plant at Bay de Verde. The plant is one of the large producers of snow crab and shrimp, and it may very well be a total loss.
During the peak season, 700 workers are employed at the plant, and given the start of the crab season, people have come from all over Newfoundland to take jobs…
