Slow Start to Mahi Season in Ecuador, Peru

Along with other El Nino changes, the Mahi fishery appears to be much slower than last year.
Reports from Ecuador and Peru are of lower catches since the season began in Mid-November. Ecuador's December landings were about 40% below their 2014 levels, according to industry sources.
In Peru, fishing has been poor in the north, but somewhat better in the south...
