Higher Pollock Catch Leads Increase in Russian Fish Landings Through June

Russia's fish landings in the first half of the year reached 2.5 million tonnes, up 6.8 percent compared to the same time last year according to latest data of the Russian Federal Agency of Fisheries (Rosrybolovstvo).
The Far East basin still accounts for the majority Russian fish landings with a catch volume of 1.66 million tonnes through the first six months of 2015.
Meanwhile, catches were up for all Russian basins...
