Russia Adds Five More Latvian Canneries to its List of Banned Seafood Exporters

Russia's consumer protection agency, Rospotrebnadzor, has banned five Latvian fish canneries from importing their products to Russia as of 1 August 2015, RBC reported.
The ban applied to Gamma-A, Sabiedriba IMS, Saldus Galas Kombinats, Unda, and Ventspils Zivju Konservu Kombinats. Rospotrebnadzor said the companies had violated regulations on product labelling, caloric content, and other rules.
In June 2015, Russia's food and veterinary agency, Rosselkhoznadzor, banned the import of fish products of 44 Latvian and 31 Estonian companies...
