Lithuanian crab vessel detained in Russia still in legal limbo

VILNIUS, Hearings of the case of the Lithuanian fishing vessel arrested in Russia will be continued in December, and some of the crew members have already left the ship, says Vladimir Odiagailo, lawyer for the ship's owners.
On Tuesday, a Murmansk court continued hearing the administrative case of the Juros Vilkas (Sea Wolf) registered in Lithuania where the ship's captain, Lithuanian citizen Aleksandras Grusko, is charged with fisheries violations.
After the hearing, Odiagailo told BNS that the court decided to adjourn until Dec. 19, as it has not yet received information from the Russian Defense Ministry about legal acts regulating fisheries.
