Vietnam expands shrimp hectares 5%, says production reached 395,000 tons through 3 quarters of 2014

According to a statement from VASEP reported in the National Times, Vietnam's shrimp producers have been able to dramatically expand output this year. With a relatively short supply of shirmp due to diseases in Thailand and China, Vietnam has seized an opportunity.
Vietnam has rapidly increased proactive farming area to take this opportunity, especially in the Mekong Delta provinces....
