Shediac Lobster Shop and city of Shediac will attempt new world record lobster roll - 68 feet long

As part of the 65th Shediac lobster festival this weekend, Shediac Lobster Shop, the platinum sponsor, and the City of Shediac, will attempt a new world record lobster roll.  Their planned roll will be 68 feet long.  
 
The event is partly publicity for Shediac Lobster Shop, which has been in business for 60 years, and like many other Maritime lobster processors, has in recent years branched out to serve new customers.   They hope to expand recognition of their brand 'Shediac Lobster".
 
The Maillet family has been involved with the lobster festival nearly since its inception....
