Mahi prices strengthen cautiously as demand returns to US market

There is a cautious return to stronger mahi prices after the market went into a freefall in 2012.
Current Urner Barry quotations for portions and fillets are up about 16 percent from last year.
Traders said mahi demand in the US has increased again after the item was priced out of the market at the end of 2011 and early 2012 when prices hit record levels due to poor fishing.
