NFI's Shrimp Council Launches Football Tailgating Campaign to Boost US Shrimp Consumption

The National Fisheries Institute Shrimp Council is encouraging US consumers to eat more shrimp this football season through a tailgating promotion.
The Council’s “Tailgate Takeover” campaign has partnered with three food blogs Damn Delicious, Cooking Classy, and The Little Kitchen to promote easy-to-make shrimp-centric dishes ideal for football tailgates.
“Everyone knows that tailgating would not be the same without great food,” said Judy Dashiell, Senior Vice President of NFI. “Fans are always looking to bring bite-sized finger foods to their pregame rituals, and shrimp is the perfect choice. We hope this campaign will help consumer think outside the box when it comes to tailgate and party food, and encourage them to reach for nutritious and delicious shrimp when planning their menus.”
