Chilean salmon producers with operations on Chiloe island have regained access to their processing facilities now that a near two-week-long strike by the artisanal sector has ended.
Yesterday the Chilean government agreed to provide assistance to Chile’s artisanal fishing sector that has been economically devastated from weeks of red tide.
