MSC Certification Awarded to Central Patagonian Southern King Crab Fishery For First Time in History
Southern king crab (Lithodes Santolla) from the Central Patagonian stock in the Argentine Sea is now Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified.
MSC announced earlier this month that certifying entity OIA S.A. evaluated the target species’ population status, environmental impact and management system of the fishery, which represents the three principles of the MSC standard.
