Maine Politicians Back Lobster Industry Following NOAA Rule Changes
After NOAA Fisheries announced changes to its Atlantic Large Whale Take Reduction Plan, the Governor of Maine Janet Mills wrote a letter of solidarity to the state’s lobster industry, on September 1.
Mills said she will work with Maine’s Congressional Delegation to determine the best way to address the lobster industry’s and administration’s concerns.
