FDA Surpasses All of 2020’s Antibiotic-Contaminated Shrimp Refusals in Four Months
The Southern Shrimp Alliance has shared that the FDA has already refused more entry lines of antibiotic-contaminated shrimp than were refused in all of 2020.
In total, the FDA reported 107 seafood entry line refusals in April; six of which were shrimp for antibiotic-related reasons from three importers from Bangladesh, India, and Vietnam.
