U.S. Seafoods Apologizes to Unalaska for Fired Crewmen’s Behavior in Dutch Harbor Bar
United States Seafoods’ Chief Operating Officer Dave Wood issued an apology to Unalaska yesterday during an interview with Hope McKenney, reporter for the area radio station KUCB and Alaska Public Media. McKenney's story about crewmen who had earlier tested positive off of a U.S. Seafoods factory ship chose to breach their quarantine and visit a bar in Dutch Harbor last weekend. The incident raised the local risk factor for COVID-19 spread from medium to high.
