The Alaskan snow crab season marches on with 43 percent of the IQF allocation caught and about 22.9 million pounds remaining of the 40.5 million total allowable catch. With Trident’s plant in Akutan, Alaska, now back up and running as of February 23, overall processing should be well underway.
