NFWF Announces $900K in Research Grants for Killer Whale Conservation
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) announced $918,700 in grants aimed at stabilizing and recovering the population of the endangered Southern Resident killer whale population in coastal Washington and British Columbia.
The NFWF said the grants will generate $3.2 million in matching contributions for a conservation impact of $4.1 million.
