JAPAN: Fall Chum Landings 48,000 Tons; Down 3% at the End of October
As of the end of October, the national fall salmon catch was 47,812 tons, down 3% from the same period of the previous year. The total number of returns, including coastal and rivers, increased by 3% to 17,484,039.
