California Culls 3.2 Million Trout Due to Bacterial Outbreak at Hatcheries
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) announced that three of its fish hatcheries in the state will cull 3.2 million fish in order to stop a bacterial outbreak.
CDFW said it exhausted all resources and consulted with fish pathology experts and euthanizing the trout was the only option to stop the spread.
