U.S. Joins Global Ghost Gear Initiative, 16th Country to Join Effort
The U.S. was named the newest member of the Global Ghost Gear Initiative (GGGI) a platform aiming to solve the issue of abandoned, lost and discarded fishing gear. Currently, the U.S. marks the 16th country to join the consortium already featuring 100 members including 13 U.S.-based fishing and seafood companies.
