COVID-19 Cases in Alaska’s Seafood Workers Ramp Up to 108 This Week
Even while Alaska is still the state with the lowest number of positive coronavirus cases in the country, it did see a significant uptick in both resident and non-resident cases this week.
Yesterday the state logged the highest number of positive cases per day since the pandemic began in Alaska. A total of 44 new resident and non-resident cases were reported, 19 of which were non-resident. Of those 19, 17 were seafood-related.
