West Coast Groundfish, HMS Fisheries Get 2-week Observer Reprieve
Industry requests for a waiver for carrying observers due to the coronavirus pandemic yielded results Wednesday. The National Marine Fisheries Service issued a notice that will waive observers for West Coast groundfish and most highly migratory species fisheries for two weeks, through the end of April.
