Recent Agreement Between China and Iceland is Expected to Boost Iceland's Salmon Exports
Chinese representatives for the General Administration of Customs were invited to visit salmon farms and other companies in Iceland in May. During the official visit May 23-25, the two companies signed a bilateral agreement to help Iceland’s commodities, such as salmon, enter China more easily.
Actually, the two countries reached their first free trade agreement about five years ago, and signed an updated agreement on this May 24. It will go into effect in about two weeks...
