Fiordland Lobster plans to build an online platform designated specifically for Chinese markets in this new year. It has gotten some knowledge of Chinese buyers by selling live lobsters through Hema, Alibaba’s subsidiary, since 2018. But setting up this online sales channel requires more efforts in learning end consumer demand, said its general manager.
