Oceana Praises Chile For Taking Action Against Illegal Fishing
Marine conservation organization Oceana is praising the Chilean Senate for their approval of a bill that updates the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca), which, among other things, increases transparency in access to the Vessel Monitoring System. According to Oceana, this new law aids Sernapesca in the fight against illegal fishing.
