Mexico May Produce Nearly 140,000 Tons of Shrimp, Up About 15%, but it’s Not Coming to the US

Mexican shrimp production appears to be up again this year, with some estimates that they may have produced 140,000 tons, up from around 120,000 tons in 2017. This marks the continuation of a strong recovery from disease issues.
But this shrimp is not coming to the US.
Currently there is some price weakness on 26-30 count and smaller, and Urner Barry reported a little weakness on Latin American farmed ...
