NOAA Increases Winter Scup Quota to Almost 10 Million Pounds

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) announced late last week that they revised the Winter II commercial scup quota. The commercial scup quota is now set at 9,766,677 lbs., an increase of 155% from 3,822,816 lbs.
The quota revision for the Winter II period, which runs from October 1 to December 31, is due to only 45% of the Winter I quota being harvested. Winter I period, which ran from January 1 to April 30, had a quota of 10,820,000 lbs ...
