Pollock prices, along with whitefish in general, have been steadily increasing throughout 2018 due to shortages worldwide. B season processed pollock blocks demanded premiums above A season pricing at the beginning of June, and as B season quickly comes to an end, this market continues to firm and pricing once again is increasing.
