Economic and Social Assessment of Tasmanian Fisheries Released

Researchers at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) have released an assessment of the economic and social benefits of Tasmania’s fisheries.
The report provides an analysis of “trends and changes in a range of indicators of different types of social and economic performance.” Included in the assessment is: Tasmanian abalone, commercial dive, giant crab, rock lobster, scalefish and scallop fisheries.”
