California Crab Disaster Relief Plan Slowly Moves Forward

Dungeness and rock crab fishermen and processors are eagerly awaiting California Department of Fish and Wildlife and Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission decisions on $28 million of disaster funding.
CDFW submitted a proposed plan to the Commission on July 20, after taking input from industry during a July 18 webinar. The proposed plan includes:
