China continues to increase imports of Russian pollock, despite maintaining high prices for it, both in Russia and on the global market, according to recent statements of some leading Russian fishermen and senior officials from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.
According to the Russian analyst agency Rybset, one of the leading fish titles in Russia, the ever growing demand for Russian pollock in China makes pollock less affordable for domestic consumers, its prices are steadily growing.
