Public Health Agency of Canada Closes Raw Oysters Outbreak Investigation

The investigation into the outbreak of norovirus and gastrointestinal illnesses linked to raw oysters has been officially closed by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
In mid-April the government agency announced that they were investigating illnesses in three provinces that were linked to raw oysters from British Columbia. Oyster farmers in British Columbia that were associated with the illnesses were closed in an effort to prevent further illnesses.
