Oregon Seafood Commodity Commissions Get New Members

Oregon's four seafood commodity commissions will have some new faces this year. The Oregon Albacore, Salmon, Dungeness Crab and Trawl Commissions all had members apply for new terms.
Commission members' volunteer service to Oregon agriculture determines the programs that each commission funds with assessments paid by fish harvesters. Funds are used for non-branded promotion, research, and education.
