Don Young Cool to CVRF CDQ Complaints: ‘They just want more money’

Coastal Villages Region Fund, one of six CDQ groups in Western Alaska, has been on a campaign to re-visit CDQ allocations arguing that they represent the largest share of the population (35%), but get only 15% of the fish.
So far they have gotten little traction, since if their population to spending model was applied statewide, Western Alaska would get almost nothing.
