Alaska Board of Fish To Address Petition from Sports Groups Limiting PWS Pink Hatchery Releases

On Monday, May 14, the Alaska Board of Fish will consider an emergency petition from a coalition of recreational angler groups to stay a decision to increase pink salmon egg take for Prince William Sound hatcheries.
On April 19, the Prince William Sound Regional Planning Team approved amending hachery-management plans to allow an additional 20 million eggs to be taken and incubated for release next year.
